Hollywood Unites For Haiti is currently focusing on providing support for victims of the earthquake and accepting donations for this purpose.

Shelter kits with tents, tarps, water purification tables and more
Emergency relief supplies
Food
Medical supplies
Family tool kits, including shovels
Telecommunications equipment

About $25,000 is enough to buy shelter for almost 500 people.

We also need donations from manufacturers of specialized products such as medicines, medical supplies, and sleeping bags.

HUFH now launches a special campaign to raise funds for the infrastructural rebuilding efforts that will be necessary in the coming months and years. Jimmy Jean-Louis maintains, "It's not enough to keep band-aiding this - my - poorest of counties every few years in the worst of times. We need to keep a long term focus on the plight of the Haitian people until our goals are accomplished.
